Riley McKinstry

Riley was born in Albuquerque, NM. She attended both Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, FL and the University of Colorado at Denver where she completed her Bachelor of Anthropology degree. Her professional background is primarily in the HR software space, most recently moving into an HR role working for RG Construction Services and has always been drawn to organizations and roles that put the success and wellbeing of stakeholders at the forefront. Having a lifetime love of all animals, and the diverse community that helped to raise her, she sought out volunteer opportunities when she moved back to NM in 2023. Having learned of the Los Suenos Community Giving's pet pantry efforts in partnership with the Storehouse NM through her veterinarian, she signed up as a volunteer and fell in love with the mission and the amazing humans that drive LSCG. She currently resides in Albuquerque with her four cats (and the occasional foster kittens), spending a good chunk of her free time reading, walking, and listening to every band she comes across.
